Vendor email response agent
Problem
Vendor emails arrive in the inbox and require manual review before anyone can respond meaningfully. Either a generic automated reply goes out with no context, or someone manually pulls together the vendor's communication history, directory profile, and related purchase orders from different parts of the business before writing back. Skipping that research produces generic, impersonal replies, even when the relevant history and context already exist somewhere in the business.
Solution
An agent monitors the inbox and reads incoming vendor emails as they arrive. For each one, it pulls the vendor's communication history, directory profile, and related purchase orders through a connected MCP server, then drafts a response grounded in that full context. Rather than sending automatically, the draft is written to a staging application where a team member can review it alongside the context the agent used, then edit and approve it before it goes out. Vendors get responses that reflect their actual history and standing, and the team keeps final say over what's actually sent.

Building Blocks
This solution was built using these Nextworld features
Agents
Reads each incoming vendor email, retrieves relevant context through the MCP server, and drafts a response grounded in that context.
MCP Server
Connects the agent to the vendor directory and purchase order data, allowing it to pull a vendor's profile and transaction history as part of building the drafted response.
Integrations
Triggers the agent when a new vendor email arrives in the inbox, and sends the approved response back out through the email system once a team member approves it.
Custom Applications
Displays each agent-drafted response alongside the vendor context it drew from, in a staging application for review.
Human-in-the-Loop
Reviews and approves each drafted response before it sends, keeping a person in control of the final, personalized communication.
