Problem
Manual expense reporting means entering each line item by hand, date, amount, classification, memo, for every receipt, a process slow enough that many employees put it off until it becomes a backlog. Personal expense reporting had also been split across multiple systems, which adds friction for anyone who isn't a corporate card holder or approver.
Solution
An expense reporting application that lets employees snap or upload photos of receipts and have AI extract the expense details automatically, replacing manual entry for most transactions. Employees review the AI's output before submitting, and reports move through a standard approval flow. The application also handles mileage as a separate detail type, calculating reimbursement based on IRS or applicable foreign tax authority rates.
